well, yest i walked him to the bus n he was ok til the bus came. i grabbed him by the hand and said something in a deep voice....walked(dragged) him onto the bus and walked away. then waved wen bus was pullin out.

TODAY.....i walked him down to bus...hung out a bit. then bus came and i just braced myself....he asked this 10-12yo girl(a friend) if he can sit with her and she said "sure". she grabbed his hand and walked him on the bus...while hes sayin.."bye dad...love u...hava gd day". Haha. im so proud of him. not one problem at all.

so thanx Enig...."tuff love" approach helped!!

They are young - and at this point a direct reflection of the influences put upon them. Meaning- if you're always gentle and tender, delicate, overly sensitive- then this is how their approach to life will also be. At no time in their life is it more important to build self confidence, and not through "positive reinforcement" but through trials and strife. They need to be pushed into uncomfortable situations so they can learn on their own that they retain the intrinsic capacity to deal and over come uncomfortable events or events where the outcome is unknown.

"Steel hardens steel, but love quenches the fire" it's a balance
