standing cable leg curls

How many of you guys or girls use the ankle strapand low cable to do these finishing movements to grow the hammys to something people can see? I personally love them and love the feel of a soccer ball upon contraction.

I actually have cramping issues when I have a strong hamstring contraction, likely due to dehydration or some such thing. That being said I prefer stiff legs, good mornings with a few prone leg curls thrown in.
