Anyone experience water retention of just the left leg below the knee lower calf and foot? I'm just on 300mg per week of Cyp hrt and 40 mg var. Have good diet ,low sodium intake and it's annoying me. Any OTC suggestions due to no medical insurance. Thanks bruthas.

I had the problem in my ankles once. Backed off of everything for about a week and it subsided. Once I began again it didn't come back?

I am sure there are plenty of other guys on here with more experience with it then I.

Yeah some odd stiffness of the ankle and positive I didn't sprain it or anything. I've had it a while, at night it goes away. Around noon it's back and skin is kinda sensitive . It's pissen me off and annoyin the hell outa me. I tried some Lasix but that just sent me into cramps of death in both legs even with good fluid intake. And I'm tryin to ditch the water .catch 22

Does it ache when you rest it - like while you're not putting pressure on it? Have you elevated it at night and does it reduce afterwards? Any redness or warmth? Reason I ask is you want to be careful you're not dealing with a clot. If you're dealing with venous reflux (blood's not returning up due to an obstruction, i.e. a clot), you'll have skin issues as well from the pressure that builds as the smaller surface veins take on the volume the blocked vein(s) cannot. Not trying to frighten you, but I will say that insurance or not, I'd advise you to keep a close eye on it, and if you can, try to get an ultrasound of it. If it is a clot and a superficial one, then the body will take care of it, but a deep vein is a different story entirely and can be very serious. Additionally, dehydration contributes to clotting, so lose the lasix for sure! Good luck with everything man. Be well.

Hey Grim at night it goes away and is normal when I awake. It's a long story but I've had ultrasounds etc , no clots but I was put on a blood thinner 5yrs ago and it screwed up the colors of my lower legs both sides almost like wearing socks. Its like I'm tan all the time there now. I kinda have high bp off and on. 136/ 99 when i went to donate blood last time . It kinda feels hot to the touch around the swollen area . I could go on but I'm gotta bite the bullet and go to Dr I think. Thanks for the help guys. I am 46 so maybe time to take it easy on the gear or go milder on the type used. Any suggestion for an oldman cycle toss it out. Lol.

Everything seems to sound like you really should get the issue checked out for sure. Better safe than ... you know the rest. Let us know how you make out and be well bro.
