Muscle contrractions while injection

Yeah I normally dont do shoulders but I put the 25g needle in and when it hit my delt muscle my shoulder started contracting and shaking my arm....i stopped pressure then tried again...contractions, so i moved it a little and shoved it in there, no blood after asp so i injected, a little sore but im fine. Was I hitting or close to a nerve?

I got the same thing when injecting in my biceps. when I think about it it happend once while injecting in my shoulder as well. I did the same thing you did, just poked another place and I was fine.

yeah, its an obvious sign, so keep going, but i wouldnt. i'd pull out and inject elsewhere. but its rarely happened for me.
