Well, having a job that has me sitting at a computer most of the day (for years), posture is very important. Most people automatically think of their lower back, but your neck comes into play too. Having 3 cervical vertebrae fused, believe me, I speak from experience. Its important to keep your head in a neutral position, chin slightly tucked. If you use reading glasses like me, no tilting your head back for hours on end. Its rough on those discs. And take breaks from the desk every 1/2 hour. Don't sit there hours on end with your neck frozen in one position.
