Diet Critique.....Leaning Out

Been on about 3200 cals for 3weeks...actually gained 1.5kgs however im trying to lean down slowly...

Thinking of changing to 2800ish....outlined below.

DIET – 2800 Calories

Meal 1 – 60g Whey Protein, 5g Coconut Oil, 5g Fish Oil, Greens Powder
Meal 2 – 200g XLean Steak Mince Burgers, veg
Meal 3 – 250g Chicken Breast, 60g brown rice, 5g coconut oil, 2g cla
Intra Workout – 30g PeptoPro(25g Protein) 75g Vitargo (65g carbs) 5g Taurine, 5g Creatine
Post Workout Meal – 200g XLean Steak Mince Burgers, 70g Basmati Rice, 1tbsp Honey
Meal 5 – 60g Whey Protein Blend, 50g Steel Cut Oats, 1 Medium Banana. Greens Powder
Meal 6 – 250g Chicken Breast, 40g Brown Rice, Veg, 1 Whole Egg.

Totals = 330g Protein, 265g Carbs, 45g Fats = 2785cals


Pic of me is an another thread.

I have apple cider vinegar with 2 meals also.
Coconut oil cos it acts like an MCT and better than nuts as i hate nuts.

Im 226lbs atm, probs 13%? 6ft 1....daily activity is like zero cos im at uni or work, so exercise is gym or sex with the mrs.

as with your girl, I would decrease carbs on non workout days, and introduce them around in and around workout. this keeps your fat burning zone on all the time with the exception of in and around workouts. The rest looks really good

Hey buddy....sunday is my day off so will reduce carbs...

My carbs are all times around the workout i feel above....

Appreciate the feedback!

As stated above, carbs only around work outs.

I've even gone as far as zero carbs on non-workout days when I want to get single digit BF%.

My carbs are only pre..During and post...

Would you say those calorie aims are about right.

By may I wanna be a proper 6 percent

I see no problem with 6-8% by may.

You might want to drop the oats and rice out of meals 5 & 6 all together.

Also, you might want to start doing a.m fasted cardio on off days.

And NO ALCOHOL!

I dont drink full stop mate! Ill keep carbs in meal 5...but will drop them from meal 6 in a week or so....cos i reckon ill drop a few lbs on the above!

But ill see i guess. haha

I know brother! I was rushing out and it came a bit snappy! haha.

My day off i will keep very low carbs!

No don't drink at all.

Don't really wanna be doing cardio just yet...2800ish about im going to from Monday so will monitor my weight.

When that stalls ill add in 25mcg t3...then when that stalls ill drop the 1st beef meal so will drop fats a bit...

Then ill look at adding cardio.

I thought getting to singles wouldn't be to hard for me.

Sunday I have no set diet....just clean food...350g protein and some fats.

Sound like a plan for now?

Good advice from others. You should definitely see some changes, if not then tweak as needed.

Brown rice seems to make me feel more bloated compared to like basmati. Might do a mix and see if i notice the difference
