best muscle-pain reliever?

What pills/medicine would you guys recommend for severe muscle-pain?...ie lets say an over-trained muscle.....Seems like Voltarin Tabs does not help a lot

Could not get it in SA.....so i got Ibuprofen instead.......just hope it works..

Well, what do you know....After about 4 weeks of pain, it seems that i finaly got it under control with Ibuprofen....Now all i can say is....."F you gym, i'm boss!!"........thx for all the advise
