This 7-foot, 380-pound lineman towers over anyone in the NFL -- and he's in high school

September 19, 2014 1:34:11 PM PDT

We've seen some massive defensive linemen pass through the NFL -- your J.J. Watts, Vince Wilforks and so on -- but all of them would look like children compared to Dondre Harris. Harris, a senior at Essex High School in Tappahannock, Virginia, stands 7 feet tall and weighs 380 pounds, making him pretty easy to pick out on the football field (or anywhere, really). MaxPreps.com*was on hand*at Harris' latest game, and they captured some pretty amazing images of just how much Harris stands out:

Yea if he can keep his knee's healthy he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Most big guys get knee problems that force then to retire earlier than expected

Just imagine what he could do if he got in shape and hit the weights. Right now he's just relying on his natural sheer size only, but after a good years worth of training he would be a machine

The thing that will decide if he keeps playing long term will be his ability to stay healthy and his level of athleticism. There's a never-ending stream of huge guys at all levels of the game. He's just a little bigger than most. If he lacks the athleticism to move quickly, the speed to pursue, and the ability to make cuts and change direction he'll be just another big guy that couldn't make it.

With that said, I'd have hated to block him when I played left tackle in high school.

Just off the surface he doesn't look athletic or strong. Just a physical anomaly, not a football player. At least the way things look at this point.

Hopefully someone grabs him and mentors him - watches his couches so they don't physically or mentally hurt him and also keep him healthy - seen so much great talent get destroyed by parents, coaches, and pair's (hopefully I didn't spell the fruit)
